The Basics of Good Writing - SUNY Rockland Community College

Suffern, NY: The World Fishing & Outdoor Exposition opens its doors in just over a week and the lineup of speakers at this 40th anniversary show is better than ever. Running March 2-5 at the SUNY Rockland Community College Field House in Suffern, NY, the Suffern Show will feature top bass anglers Mike "Ike" Iaconelli, Gerald Swindle, and Brandon Palaniuk. In addition, there will be a full complement of experts teaching their tips and techniques in seminars throughout the weekend.

SUNY Rockland Community College is committed to providing a competitive athletic atmosphere in an institution known for academic excellence. The main focus of the athletic administration and coaching staff is to assist student-athletes in their pursuit of a four-year college degree. Upon graduation from Rockland several student-athletes have competed professionally in various sports, and many others have competed at NCAA or NAIA sponsored colleges or universities.

    Among events in the College's recent history are SUNY Rockland Community College Board of Trustees designated the building and grounds of Rockland Community College as a Smoke-Free Environment in September 2009. Additionally, Rockland Community College celebrated the institution's Semicentennial, quinquagenary or Golden Anniversary from September 2009 through August 2010. , Chancellor of the State University of New York (SUNY), was the featured speaker at the Rockland Community College 50th Anniversary Academic , held on Friday, September 25, 2009. The college in 2012 has been designated as a Veterans Friendly Campus.

    SUNY Rockland Community College is located in Suffern, New York and is less than an hour from New York City. It is located a few miles off of the New York State Thruway (I-87). The campus has ample parking. No pets except for registered service animals. The service pet needs to have a harness/vest and state or national paperwork.
